In early October the entire student body participated in the Amazon English Olympics.
Each English group was given a country to represent that has English as the national language. Competitions included showing strengths in vocabulary, grammar and general knowledge US trivia. From all 14 English classes, 3 finalists were chosen to represent their group. On Friday October 25th, the finalist competed for the top positions.
Competitions again showed strengths in vocabulary, grammar as well as speed and accuracy. In the end only two teams could hold the gold medals.... Freshmen B2 representing Seychelles and Junior B3 representing Zimbabwe will be rewarded with a pizza party next week, Tuesday the 5th of November in room 405. Thanks to everyone who participated! We look forward to having this event every year!
